My name is Blake Peterson and I am a writer, podcaster, and musician currently based in Seattle. Since 2013, I have had a monthly movie column for the Valley Bugler newspaper, which is currently based in Washington state.

In April 2014, I founded the film criticism website petersonreviews.com, on which I have continuously published new content six days per week.
Verge Campus Entertainment Writer
2016 - Today
I have been writing four-to-five entertainment-related pieces every month for the student-run publication Verge Campus since the summer of 2016.
The Daily of the UW Staff Writer & Columnist
2017 - Today
I joined the staff of the University of Washington's the Daily in early 2017. Since, I have written for the News, Arts, and Specials sections, though I write most often for Arts. In September 2017, I started a weekly column, Pop Culture à la Mode, which has primarily consisted of opinion pieces regarding the entertainment industry.
Cinemadventure Podcast Co-Host
2017 - Today
In September 2017, I co-founded Cinemadventure, a weekly movie discussion podcast. My co-host and I talk about movies new and old, and often have on diverse guests. During my time as a co-host, I have also learned how to use the audio editing software Adobe Audition.
Bothell-Kenmore and Kirkland Reporters News Intern
2018
From January to March 2018, I worked as a news intern with the Sound Publishing newspapers the Bothell-Kenmore and Kirkland Reporters. There, I wrote one-to-two feature stories per week about the surrounding community, always with a photographic element.
